This is from the South Essex Wildlife Hospital Facebook page. You can see the frustration by the staff workers at the hospital in the words that they use in illustrating their photograph. I understand their frustration. I just don’t believe that what they say will change anything because allowing domestic cats to roam freely outside is a deeply embedded part of the British culture and even when cats get killed on the roads British people don’t change their ways and keep their cats inside. British domestic cats are far less often killed by predators compared to those in America. This is one reason why there is less pressure to keep them inside at all times.
