Make of the photo what you will. As for me it is sad and sick and a symptom of humankind’s wayward behavior but there are many people who support trophy hunting. They say it is their right and to hell with ethics. They say an individual has the right to act upon his/her own ethics.

I am afraid that is wrong because if a person’s ethical standards are sufficiently low their behavior becomes a concern for the public and it may be criminal. Therefore “personal” ethics affecting behavior don’t necessarily remain personal but become a public matter.
