The picture shows a bobcat coming out of what appears to be a snowy rock pile or a crevice in some rocks. Bobcats choose these sorts of places for natal dens where they give birth to their young. Birth weights range from 128 g to 800 g according to one study and according to another the weight range varies between 280-340 g.
