Cat Head Butts a Horse Companion. I love to see cats and horse together as friends. You see it quite a lot surprisingly. This is probably because farm cats live in barns or stables where they make friends with horses. The big barrier to this being a successful friendship is the size differential. Cats are hundreds of times smaller than horses. Cats adapt and climb fences and gates to get their head butt working. The look of contentment on the face of horses tell me that they really appreciate the friendship.
