Gwen Cooper has done an excellent job in promoting cat welfare by not only caring for Homer, but in educating cat lovers everywhere that having a blind cat isn’t a death sentence for the cat. Blind cats can do everything sighted cats can do, except they use their other senses to make up for lack of eyesight.
