I am planning to make a routine change to the color scheme of the website. This helps to freshen things up a bit. People like change but also familiarity, which is contradictory but typically human.
Before I embark on changing the color scheme etc., I would like to ask anyone visiting, particularly loyal regulars (I think of you as club members – the PCC – Pictures of Cats Club) what sort of colours you might prefer.
You might prefer no change, which is fine. But if you do have preferences, I’d like to hear from you in a comment. I would like to please you, if possible.
Of course, there is no obligation to state your preferences. I am happy to choose myself, but I welcome input and advice from others. You also might like a picture in the background (either side of the website) rather than a plain graduated color as is the case presently.
Here are some typical color schemes (we are not confined to these).
Your comment begs the question whether I should change the colours? I don’t have to do anything but from time to time a change can help to freshen things up.
I think like you. I like things plain, simple and readable. Don’t worry I won’t do anything that will upset any of the regulars 😉 I just like a bit of input at the beginning.
Also as Babz says not too gaudy,I think it would irritate me and distract me from the writing as I don’t have a lot of time to spend on line.
Your own articles are pure gold Micheal, you don’t need frills.
I hope it doesn’t go too dark or too red as lighter colours are better for people with eyesight troubles.
This is so light and easy to read as it is now.
Thanks a lot for your good explanation. I am pleased I decided to ask before changing.
