A Beauty

I noticed a kitten around the building where I live. There were come children running after him, and I told them not to touch him, because he was sick. He was a tiny kitten, looked like a siamese mix, but too unattractive to be pure.

Anyway, I became touched and saddened, as I noticed that he wasn't sick, but had been abused. Hair had been taken off his tail, which has since grown back. I started feeding him.

After a while I realized that if I did not get him off the street he would either fall pray to someone, or get hit by a car. So one day I lured him into my house, shut the door, and the rest is history!

He has grown beautifully. My husband and I placed him up for adoption with a fee of $100. Many people called, and called, and called... until we decided we couldn't part with him. smile
Now he is 4 1/2 mos., and OURS!

WE LOVE HIM

Lorraine

Sorry for the missunderstanding, thanks your for understanding
by: Lorr71 -- Lorraine

I'm sorry Michael. Really sorry. It's sad, because so many of the worlds problems such as fights, hated, and stife are because of missunderstandings. I feel so bad. But, at least in this way I'm glad that I was able to meet someone new, especaially one that was honest, and open hearted (I'm a sentimentalist). I'm sorry, and I wish you the best. I mean that. May things go will with you... always.

Hi Lorraine
by: Michael

Hi, the comment that I made previously relates to the comment just before it. You will see I say "response to last comment" (the one just below it).

In that comment Jess was talking about a Siamese cat with white spots on the face. I was referring to that and not your boy.

Sorry for the confusion. And thanks once again for sharing your diamond with us.

Unsure of your comment
by: Lorr

He is a full breed siamese. The pic may be somewhat deceiving. He looks nothing like the pics you showed me, and has no white spots on any of his points, or face. He has greatly darked, and is a beauty. If I wish I could send another pic of him. I don't understand your sentiments or why you would question it, what is the meaning, and why would this even be of concern to you? No disrespect intended. I'm somewhat baffled?

No quite Siamese
by: Michael

Hi, - response to last comment. Thanks for sharing. Your beautiful visitor is probably a Siamese mix and has white spots where the points are caused by the white spotting gene. This is like the Seychellois or the Snowshoe. In fact there may be some of the Snowshoe cat in your visitor.

A special cat
by: Finn Frode, Denmark

The way you found him, the way you fed him, the way you decided you couldn't part with him. Just a few months and you already have a special cat with a great history. Believe me, those cats are remembered long after they're gone.
He's a beautiful little funny-face - no wonder you had to keep him. 🙂
