A1 Savannahs are now accredited by the Feline Conservation Federation. This is well deserved. I have visited A1 Savannahs and it is a hugely impressive facility. A1 Savannahs is a member of the Feline Conservation Federation (FCF). Accreditation is available to FCF members. Accreditation “certifies excellent standards in feline facility and management practices”.

The Feline Conservation Federation is an organisation that provides the following:

  • husbandry courses to feline facility operators (Kathrin Stucki is an approved instructor/trainer/lecturer incidentally) and;
  • education to the public on wildlife conservation included habitat (probably the single biggest threat to all wildlife including the wildcats)
  • being a member attracts a range of benefits – see FCF About US

The accreditation to A1 Savannahs tells us that they are operating with the highest level of husbandry and management practices.

Well done to Martin and Kathrin Stucki. Here is Kathrin:

Oct 19, 2009 I am proud to own an A1 Savannah
by: Deborah-Ann Milette

I am not surprised that A1Savannahs was accepted for accreditation and in many ways glad to see that FCF is willing to let out the leash even though A1 is a combination hybrid/serval facility. Every feline that I have from A1 has been of the top quality and never disappointed in any of my boys.

Maybe because of their wonderful start in life they easily became ambassadors for the breed but mostly for A1 because I only own them they still belong to A1.
