Oriental Shorthair Mix - Franklin

My Franklin is an 8-month old Oriental Shorthair mix that I adopted from a rescue group. I got him as a companion to my grumpy formerly feral 18 month old tortoiseshell cat.

He won her over with his charm, patience, and loving nature. His "look" is not quite as severe as a pure bred, but he still has big ears, crossed eyes, that incredibly muscular and lanky body--and that weird muzzle on his big wedge head. He has a tight, smoke coat.

He was scheduled for euthanasia at the local animal shelter simply due to overcrowding when the rescue group pulled him. He was literally about 15 minutes from death at age 3 months. What a terrible tragedy that would have been!

He is a very cuddly guy and when I show pictures of him, I always get that "WHOA!" reaction.
