Border collie saves life of little dog buddie

I know, I know, it’s about a dog which is verboten on PoC — unless it is something which is (a) short (this video is seconds long) (b) interesting (c) promotes animals generally (d) highlights the intelligence of companion animals and (e) their awareness and altruism. So that’s why you have a video of a border collie chasing across a snowy driveway in Gaspé City in Québec, Canada.

I love the behavior of this dog. It’s so speedy. And it is impossible to deny the distinct impression that the border collie is doing this in the clear knowledge that he is protecting his little chihuahua buddie who is plodding his way towards his buddie the border collie. It is so cute.

It seems that he female driver of the car realises what happened and comes back to cuddle her dogs. She thought that she had crushed her little dog. She’s clearly a dog lover. Dare I say it though, she was a bit careless in having the dogs on the driveway and then reversing her car. A recipe for potential disaster. The border collie was smarter 🙂 .

The video comes for security cameras on the property.
