An amazing video has surfaced showing a Frisco, North Carolina woman as she rescued a very scared cat trapped on a fence as Hurricane Dorian swept through the state on August 30.
Victoria Williams lives in Frisco on Hatteras Island. She was one of the many people who stayed behind to ride out the storm from her home. Victoria spotted a very scared kitty trying to avoid falling into the flood waters as it perched precariously on a fence next to her house.
High winds and rising flood waters made it extremely dangerous to venture outside but she knew she had to rescue this cat.
There are many videos being shared showing how brave men and women rescued animals who most likely would have died without assistance. This is the first I’ve seen of the actual rescue of a cat.
Great job, Victoria. It looks like your home surveillance camera did an excellent job of capturing your heroic actions.
