They committed a disgusting crime of animal cruelty against someone’s pet cat. In the UK we can’t name them for legal reasons because they are teenagers. However, an American, outside of UK jurisdiction, has named them. In the age of the internet, this highlights the futility of injunctions. Find out who they are on this page via an American.
Redacted photos from Facebook..
Thee two male teenagers (redacted photos above) were both said to be under 18 at the time they set their dog on a pet cat in street. The cat was killed by the dog and one of the teenagers threw the lifeless body into a hedge. In the UK they cannot be identified under the law. It happened in Wales.
As the internet is international they have been named by an American on Facebook. The man, Harry Lerwill, says his actions are not governed by UK law.
In America they can name them
This is an interesting aspect of this story. Although I desperately want to name them I cannot. However, as far as I know there is nothing stopping me linking to the American’s Facebook webpage where you will see two pictures – screenshots – of these callous thugs. This is the link. Click on it and then click on the thumbnail images of the two thugs to read their names and see their faces. Note: At the time of writing I have been unable to check that Lerwill is correct. I am working on it. Update: Harry Lerwill says: “Locals I know confirmed comments posted on the wales online; I grew up in the valley and return regularly” (Wales Online is the newspaper).
I contacted one of the teenagers via FB messenger and he denies killing the cat but he has impliedly admitted that people are asking him about the killing. That would point to guilt.
They are Welsh. I hate to say it but Wales does have reputation for low quality behavior in my opinion. One of the thugs calls himself ‘gypsy boy *****’. He says he is working on being a full-time f*cking legend and that he does not go to school.
The other thug does not look like a teenager. He looks like he is in his mid-twenties. Perhaps he is lying about his age
They have received online death threats and been convicted of animal cruelty. Their punishment was a ban from keeping animals for ten years plus court costs of £300. Their dog was taken from them and he/she is with the RSPCA.
There is a video of the cat killing but I won’t show it as it is to dsitressing. Instead, above, is one of the video screenshots.
