It is time for people who have argued about Caboodle Ranch to put aside their differences and support ASPCA in finding new homes for the ‘Caboodle Cats’. As you are no doubt aware, ASPCA have been heavily involved in rehabilitating hundreds of Caboodle cats, many of whom were in need of medical attention and spaying or neutering.
The ASPCA Caboodle cats have been in a temporary shelter in Jacksonville. They have received medical attention and TLC which includes vaccinations, microchipping and some socialization where necessary.
The big push is now on to rehome the cats that have not been reclaimed by the people who had relinquished their cats to Caboodle Ranch.
This is a mega-task considering the numbers, which is why PoC has been asked to spread the word, which I am happy to do. ASPCA are hosting three large adoption events in order to get the ball rolling and to present a high profile to this special one-off adoption process.
The ASPCA adoption events will be held on August 11th and 12th (2012). This is a fantastic opportunity to not only give a new, loving home to a cat that will be very grateful but to share your life with a cat that has become quite famous, really. The Caboodle cats are probably the most discussed rescue cats on the internet. Here is your chance to adopt one. You have to be a good cat guardian though!
Here are some details. You can also visit the ASPCA website if you wish.
Please spread the news….

Happy Adopting..
Well that is sad because a group of young people and some adult here in Tampa and Orlando are taking free dogs and cats from craiglist they are taking them to an empty field let the cage open and when the kitties and dogs run to freedom they shoot them to kill them, a lady post this in craiglist the police is after this but people dont care giving their pets away, and this is what is making me sick ASPCA is giving the Caboodle to anyone and people with Piton Snakes feeds them with cats and little dogs and other animals.. Please poor Caboodle Cats giving them for free and to anybody!!
It is so exciting to see them finally going to loving homes that they deserve. Four more days to go until there are a whole lot of happy kitties and families!
The truth will out.

I will be glad to hear the end of it too and hope the cats all get good homes. I can’t help wondering though why the people who have reclaimed their cats, relinquished them to CR in the first place?
Hopefully all this has given a reality check to the people who dump their cats in Shelters on any old excuse they can think up.
Exactly. I will be good when Caboodle is no longer in the news and the cats are settled.
I’m glad it’s over. Now the cats can get real homes.
