This is a rather bizarre case in which the well-known stick-on claw caps were surgically removed by a veterinarian at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. I don’t know why they had to be surgically removed. They could have just waited until they fell off. Perhaps the people at Battersea were unsure about them because they are not very common in the UK as there is no need to use them because cats are not declawed in the UK. In America claw caps are seen as an alternative to declawing.
