Blind Fuzzy Is The Joy Of My Life

Fuzzy
Fuzzy was about 5 weeks old when I found him. I was taking a walk with my Dad and we saw something running in the ditch and my Dad scooped him up.
He was scared to death and bit and scratched at first but then was calm. He was a tiny little kitten and his eyes were not open but he was able to run and walk (not wobbly like a newborn).
We later found out that he was born with no eyes. Someone had dumped several kittens in our neighborhood and Fuzzy was the first to be captured. My neighbor's all took in the others.
Fuzzy is now 2 years old and the joy of my life. He wakes me every morning around 5 am with a nuzzle to tell me its time to give him some attention.
He also sleeps with me and runs to the door when I get home. He is definitely MY cat, I live with my husband and 2 sons whom all love him also but he always comes to sit by or on me.
Even though Fuzzy is completely blind he still has a very active life. He runs up and down the halls and jumps up on the couch and coffee table.
He gets a little confused when I don't have my recliner open for him, but he always sticks a paw out there to check and he will wait for me to open it so he can get across.
He also runs around in our backyard (with supervision of course). He loves to catch grasshoppers and climbs trees. He also chases paper balls and loves boxes. He can always find his litter box even though we have moved it a few times but prefers to go outside and will cry at the door to go out.
I don't know who would have the heart to leave a blind kitten to fend for himself but I'm very glad we found him that day.
