Well, it is not certain that bored cats have smaller brains but a perpetual state of boredom in a barren environment can affect a cat’s cognitive ability and it may shrink the brain ultimately and also reduce the number of synapses in the brain. People need to be cognisant of this effect. They need to fight against boredom in their cats. As it is probably more important problem than they realise.
