My little girls!

My little girls!

I have 2 British shorthair cats and they are sisters who are just over the age of two. I had never owned a cat before and after some research we decided to buy a British Shorthair (blue). However when we found one we noticed she had a sister who was black in colour but equally as gorgeous so we purchased two!

I have to say (I'm not being biased) they are a joy to own; they play and they love lots of cuddles. We have kept them as indoor cats but are happy with big windows to look out of and they get lots of attention from myself and my partner.

I cant speak highly enough of what a great breed of cat they are and considering I was never a great cat lover I wouldn't be without them both. They have so much character and they love human interaction and I think you can get just as much joy from them as you would a dog.

The only problem I have had is maintaining their weight and I always worry what the vet will say when we get them there!

If you are thinking of buying a cat - this is the cat to own.

Hi Louise: I love your British Shorthairs Florence and Pruenella. Nice picture too. I have met the Flick's British Shorthairs (Sky and Nox) in the USA and they are gorgeous so I know what you mean...Michael (PoC Admin)
