Brody – Batman Cat

In an adventurous piece of marketing which has received some newspaper publicity, the RSPCA shelter in Swansea, Wales (Llys Nini) have decided that Brody, one of their rescue cats taken in during September, looks like Batman because of his black and white facial markings. I agree that he does, but these sorts of markings are not that uncommon in solid and white bicolor cats. I have presented two more examples below the collage of Brody that I made up for a bit of fun.

Batman Cat Brody

Brody is a five-month-old domestic shorthair bicolor (B&W). He has a sister, Dana, and the RSPCA want to find a home which they can both go to together. The mother, Cary, is also looking for a new home.

Clara Abson, the shelter manager says:

“He’s so cute and just a fantastic little cat that it took us a while to realise that he was the spitting image of Batman….We are really hoping to find a permanent home for him soon.”

Here are two more Batmen!

  • Thank you Mr ul Haq, I was almost called Zorro or Phantom (From the phantom of the opera which my mammies love) but I'm glad they decided on Jozef as it is a very noble name ;)
Our Walter came from Walter Street, just fancy having a street named after him! lol

  • Bandits

    Great cats indeed :D

Love them and Jozef is greatest of all , Love him the most <3

  • Brody is a very handsome cat and I can see how you could say he is wearing a cowl, especially from the side like that. Perhaps even a cape. The 2nd one is a bit of a stretch and the last one has been photoshopped a bit. I bet the cat looked enough like Batman on his/her own that the digital emphases wasn't required. My big brother (who is developmentally handicapped) has that Batman figure still in box. He just likes to look at them. The cats would just scare him. Too bad, they always love him.

  • lol Batman cats indeed! I hope Brody gets a good home.
Our Jozef is a bit of a Batman too ;)

  • I think the last 2 cats are more batman like than Brody. But, they all look like bandits.

So glad that the RSPCa likes Brody, Dana, and maybe even mum Cary. Maybe they will all survive the hour.

    • Yes, agreed. I remembered the zorro cat photographed by fofurasfelinas (Giane Portal) from years ago (the first one after Brody). A lovely B&W cat. I hope Brody finds a home soon.
