Brown Ticked Oriental Shorthair Kitten

This is one of the great cat quotes. This photo was taken at an Oklahoma cat show 2009. Marty Young is the breeder. This was (now adult) a very sweet kitten. Helmi captured a great expression. There is a human element to it. Ticking is a form of cat hair appearance caused by the agouti gene. The Abyssinian is the flag bearer of the ticked coat.
