Rarely, there have been leopard-jaguar hybrid cubs born. Sometimes the hybrids have also been crossed with other non-hybrid big cats. The concept behind these rare exotic hybrids is to entertain the public it seems to me. The resultant creature is somewhat like the original leopard or jaguar in terms of size. The Congolese Spotted Lion was a multi–hybrid as I would describe it. But the cat was artificially created. It was not some sort of wild mutation which came to the notice of scientists. These are all artificially created creatures for the entertainment of humankind.
