Cat baffled by owner wearing a face mask
Yes, this cat looked baffled by the owner (presumed by me to be a woman) making herself look completely different because she is wearing a face mask. It is loose fitting mask so the facial features are completely…well masked..! I am not sure of the purpose of the mask, probably something to do with the skin 🙂 .

No surprise then that the cat is baffled because she is looking at a stranger. Cats have good eyesight and can recognise people they know at a distance. I am a perplexed why the video is amusing. I think that it is the expression on the cat’s face. She does looked completely nonplussed by the monster sitting next to her.
I think that it is meant to be a ‘funny cat video’ but is not really than amusing to me because I don’t like to see cats being deliberately confused like this. It is not solely that the cat is confused, she is likely to be slightly anxious as well because suddenly a stranger is in the home, within her territory. It is not funny to make a cat anxious.
I know that I am being a bit pedantic and old fashioned if you like but that is the way I feel about this sort of video and I won’t change.
