I'll be honest; the concept of "detox" sounds a bit commercial to me. It sounds like the pharmaceutical companies made it up so that they could sell more of their expensive products. But then again, I do tend to be a bit cynical and suspicious about almost anything!
So...on the basis that some people believe in it and that there is possibly something in it, I present a natural product that does cat detox. And if it is a "natural herbal formulation that will gently cleanse and detoxify your pet, while boosting its immune system", I think it is worth a try. No harm done and some possible good may follow.
One environmental factor that we tend to forget about outdoor/indoor cats is that as they live closer to the ground they are more prone to ingesting pollutants such as pesticides and insecticides. This is because they settle near or on the ground. These toxins are also picked up on their paws and fur and then licked off.
There is also the potential problem of cat food. What is in it? Don't ask! But on the basis that there is a ton of chemical preservatives, artificial colours, flavourings and "fillers" you can at least envisage how a cat's body can build up toxins which can overwhelm the normal immune response to infection leading to a susceptibility to illnesses such constipation, diarrhea, skin rashes, urinary tact infections, liver and kidney problems and respiratory illnesses.
It might pay dividends, therefore to keep your cat healthier by detoxifying his or her body. This also generates Pet Wellbeing.
Apparently the ingredients have been chosen to cleanse and purge the body and stimulate the immune system.
BK-Detox takes about one month to work before seeing improvements in your cat's health.
What is best of all, there are no side effects but don't administer to lactating and or pregnant cats or those with kidney disease.
This cat detox medicine is administered with the use of a built in eyedropper. Drops are placed on the food or direct into the mouth.
Check with your vet if your cat is already receiving treatments. This is a North American product, please note, and probably only available in North America.
