The media say this cat is doing sit ups under a car in a parking lot in China. What do you think? I’ll tell you what I think. It looks cute and it looks like sit ups but he is licking his chest near his chin. He’s grooming himself. I guess you knew that. It’s just the camera angle. It’s a low enough which hides the cat’s tongue because it is behind his head from this angle.
The interesting and concerning aspect of this cat’s behavior is that, (a) he is under a damned car and (b) he has his hind legs pressed against the petrol tank of the car. I guess he did this for stability and comfort but the whole thing looks dodgy to me.
