Will sing for grass

Will sing for grass

My little Polywig came to me from a household where the family decided they like dogs more than cats.

Their new dogs killed Polywig's Mom as she watched.

Polywig was the runt of the litter and now has the spunk to show she can take care of herself.

I do not know what I would do without her company!

Dennis

Hi Dennis... thanks for visiting and sharing. Great name "Polywig" and a fine looking cat if I may say so.

Polywig

What a beautiful little girly you've got there! She's so pretty!!

It's very shallow and sad that those people let their dogs kill Polywig's mum, I prefer cats to dogs, but I wouldn't allow my cat to mistreat a dog...

The cats we love the most
by: Finn Frode, Denmark

What a beautiful cat she is - and a very good picture too. Cats like her that have been saved from an uncertain future are often the cats that we come to love the most. And cats that feel loved will pay back with all their affection. I wish you many happy years together. 🙂

Ocolet

Polywig likes the lower notes on the violin and she also likes harp music. I guess the kittycat can hear tones that we can't and they respond to it.
I play classical guitar which she likes but when I "plug in" and play something more lively with my electric she is outta here!
If she is hiding or asleep in someplace other than one of her usual haunts and I can't find her all I need to do is sing a Country Gospel song with a certain name that starts with "J" in it she comes a runnin jumps up on my lap and starts giving me nose kisses. People that have seen this unusual behavior have been astounded, go figure.

Polywig ROCKS!
by: 0colet

What a great cat! Polywig has this joyous look on her face - despite her traumatic kittenhood she's emerged, it seems to me, a well adjusted, happy cat. Your rescue cat is something special.

Does she like music? My cat Bibi is fond of my singing, and I had another cat as a child that liked it when I played classical piano - but anything atonal sent her running from the room! Sometimes the very vocal cats also like hearing music, in my experience.

I hope you have many happy years together,
Colette

Ruth

It's my information that at least two of Polywigs siblings (which are all different mixed breeds) made it to adulthood. And, Polywig really does sing when excited. As she is part Siamese when she gets really excited about something, such as grass, her "meows" last as long as 15-20 seconds. My first experience with this behavior was when she jumped onto my shower enclosure (much to my surprise) and started "singing in the shower" with me!

Polywig
by: Ruth

Polywig is beautiful ! I love her name. How awful she saw her mother killed by dogs, some people really are not fit to have cats. How ignorant to bring new dogs to where a cat had kittens and not to keep them apart. Did her siblings survive ?
I'm so glad Polywig has a happy home with you,you obviously love cats.
