Here is a picture of Charlie with what I have referred to as a cat pimple. It is not really that. It is a sore spot about 3 mm across in the area of his whisker pad. It seems to be a slight lump too.
My feeling is that it is like a human spot on a teenager’s face. I am watching it. He is not scratching it as far as I can tell. There is no discomfort. If it is not a cat pimple or spot it could be caused by Charlie scratching his face. However, it is round and this does not look like it was caused by scratching. I could be wrong of course. There is nothing else like it on other parts of him, at the moment and I don’t think it is quite bad enough to see a vet about it, as it may resolve itself.
Explain it, again. I think that Michael pulled out a circumstantial whisker, and expects us to explain his moves…

Ruth, do you agree? Put a dab of baking soda on it (obviously–you know this, Mihael–wet your finger first, before dipping it into the baking Na2Co3. Then, wait twenty-four hrs. If Charlie is still itching it, then give him a bit cortisone cream. Put some Polysporin on it afterwards. make sure the date is still effective.
It looks like an insect bite or sting to me and as they are very itchy Charlie has probably scratched at it without you noticing when it first happened and made it bleed.
I’d bathe it and have a close eye on it and if it’s still lumpy and not healing then off to the vets you go as he will probably need some antibiotics/cortisone.
