It looks like a love-hate relationship but something else very feline is probably going on. The cat being groomed did not nothing wrong but the grooming cat becomes irritated and smacks him/her for no apparent reason. There is probably ‘history’ between them. A slightly fractious relationship in which emotions spill over from time to time, at anytime, for no apparent reason. It seems to mirror countless households up and down the country when mild domestic violence breaks out between humans in between sessions of lovey-dovey behaviour.
