Absolutely!

Hi! I loved your video and I adore your cats! They are so happy! You have a fantastic environment for them which mimicks what they would probably get up to outside which is just great!

Hi Ruth, thanks for watching and commenting on my video. Did you take a look at the pix at the link I put in my post of a few days ago? I have lots of walkways and stuff going on here.

Walkways are a pretty easy project. I used “floating” shelves from Ikea for the mainline, and corner shelves are from Home Depot. Trickiest part is working things out so that all shelf brackets are in places where they can be screwed into wood. Drywall anchors are not strong enough to carry cat traffic for long!

Ah, Wisconsin 🙂 I’ve never lived there but have spent plenty of time there working as an engineering contractor for the food industry. Madison / Sun Prairie for a full year, Eau Claire for an entire winter, etc., etc. I liked it there a lot once I got used to snow and frozen ground!

Nice video, great cat environment
by: Ruth (Monty’s Mom)

I really enjoyed your video! I wish my Monty could have a cat companion to play with, but my husband is opposed to adding another cat to our family. Monty has the same cat tree shown in the video. I’d love to add a walkway near it like your cats have– that might be doable!

I love your choice of music– it really took me back! I grew up near Baraboo, Wisconsin and joined Boo-U’s campus/community band in my late teens. We played a lot of circus music, Baraboo being home to a circus museum, with many places around there having the name “Ringling” attached to them. Band members would call out, “Circus tempo!” which meant really, really fast. I couldn’t actually keep up– too many symphony level players in the group at that time, and I was just a kid. We played all the songs used in your video, only faster!

My Environment for Bengals
by: Eeber

The video shows only a small part of the cat environment I’ve built to keep these 3 energetic Bengals happy. You can see more comprehensive photo-documentation of my setup at:

Impressed
by: Michael

Hi Eeber, I am impressed. You have created a nice environment for your cats. Love the high walkway joining to the cat climber/furniture.

Your cats seem cotent when left alone and active in an harmonious way when they want to be.

Thanks for posting.
