My Charlie

My Charlie

When my 20lb (best friend - Leo) a tabby cat of 16 years passed away, I knew I couldn't live long without getting another. I was lucky enough to adopt little Charlie. He was 10 weeks when I got him and is now 11 months old. Who would have thought that this tiny little kitten would grow so large and I am told will not be finished growing until he is 3?

Charlie is a Maine Coon who is the most chatty kitty I have ever known! He is obsessed with water and loves to jump into the shower when I am finished.

His favorite past time is fetching pipe cleaners. In fact he knows where to find them and pulls them out one-by-one until he has them all.

This little guy is getting larger by the day, and I am loving every minute of it!!!

Hi Karen... Charlie is adorable and I would like you to come back when he has grown some more and tell us how he is getting along.

Thanks for visiting and sharing.

HI Karen

Thanks for letting us see your Charlie he's absolutely adorable! That inquisitive face peeking out!

My Maine Coon, Ozzie is 16 months now and he has the most amazing character. If he's been destructive or naughty all I have to do is give him a look and he just knows! Its as if his thinking 'oh oh she's found the artificial reeds I've knocked over and chewed up, I'm in big trouble now!'

He's so funny. I'm so sorry to hear about your cat that sadly passed away, you never forget them but looks like you'll now have lots of mischeif and love to fill your life from both of your cats.

Hi Karen. Charlie looks great and as you describe him has some funny traits that makes him quite special. A kitten is so great fun, especially if it's been a while since last you tried having one. 🙂
Losing a cat that has been with you for many years cause some people to think that since it cannot be replaced they won't have another. But all cats are different with their own individual characteristics, so a new cat will never be a substitute.
A new cat doesn't take any space in your heart from the one you lost. It's a totally new experience and will only make your heart grow bigger instead.
