Chatter Box Jynx

Jynx deep in sleep
We were walking past an abandoned car lot one night and heard a load pitiful cry-like-meow coming from under a car.
After a little coaxing (there wasn't much needed) a small, extremely skinny, cute little lilac-point Siamese cat came wandering out, hungry for both food and attention.
We already had a cat at home, Nero, and knew we couldn't take him back with us. We ran to the store and got some wet cat food for him to eat (he was so weak he could hardly chew it) and kept doing so for about 3-4 days.
Each time wed come he'd greet us by trotting over, meowing with each step. You couldn't help but fall in love with his annoying and adorable self.
We decided that we would take him in anyway; Nero would just have to adjust, but it was to be strictly temporary as we knew Nero couldn't stand it for too long (being over 8 years old at the time).
We took him to the vet and even as skinny and deprived of nutrition as he was, he had absolutely no ticks, lice, or any other kind of mite or disease. He was overall pretty healthy, once he got some proper food into him and gained back his strength.
It didn't take long before he was trying desperately to be BFFs with Nero. Nero couln't really care less about his being there and just ignored him, but Jynx would still try and snuggle up every now and then.
I will never forget that little cat's meow. I don't think it could've been louder if he used every inch of himself to blare it out. He would just sit downstairs, by himself, and meow. Day in and day out. His cuteness and ability to be loved was no compensation as far as Nero was concerned, and his and patience was quickly running out.
Eventually the day came for our little Jynxie to go to his new and hopefully forever home. We knew he would quickly adjust, as he did to us. So, even though Jynx is gone, he will always be in our hearts... and on Nero's hit-list!
P.S: Last I heard from Jynx's new owner, he was happy and healthy... and renamed Foo-man-chew!
