I like this product. It is a designer cat litter box. It has style. French chic. When you see it you wonder why no one’s designed one before. It fits in with modern luxury living. I would expected to do well in London, for example, where there are lots of expensive, interior design departments which are crying out for this sort of litter box.
It is the creation of SinDesign.com. It has a very catchy name: Poopoopeedo. This seems to be a reference to a Marilyn Monroe song, the name of which I have forgotten. I can see her singing it in my mind’s eye.
It comes in a variety of colours: black, white, green and red. The price is competitive at €79.90. There is worldwide delivery which I think is a wonderful thing because I would hope that there are a number of Americans who will take a fancy to this eye-catching litter box. It is from the heart of Europe and European products are attractive to many Americans.
Not only is it good-looking, it is also practical because it is covered, which prevents a lot of litter being kicked out of the box. In addition, the scoop is rather nicely stored away inside the litter box, under the lid. Further, there is a replaceable anti-odour tablet integrated within the lid.

Yes, good point Jo. It is eye catching for humans but is it practical and do cats like it? I think it’ll be fine to be honest. I hope I get the chance to trial one.
I am hoping she sends me one and then I’ll see how Gabriel gets on with it. He already uses a covered litter box. He is a very good litter box user.
Absolutely, the design is nice! I agree, better without deodorizing. Give it a go, see how it goes. Just watch that it does not roll (it’s my biggest worry). xx
I liked the design 🙂 . That’s about it really! It does seem to be pretty practical though with a filter in the roof of the cat litter box and the scoop is also positioned in the same place. I wonder whether the filter is also a deodoriser and therefore smells because if it does it may not be ideal as I believe a cat litter box should really smell of the cat which draws the cat to it.
Nice for a human eye, although I’m concerned of it’s small size. Smell and bacteria have a potential to concentrate quickly. Also be careful when start using – there is a similar looking plastic cat bed, looking like an egg, which has tendency to roll over covering the cat so they can’t escape. Owners were making a hole on the back of that egg-bed so a cat could escape.
To keep litter in a tray, one can try a tray with tall borders. Any plastic tray from a home shop will do – just cut an entrance, so a cat can come in. Also cats can dig a lot if it’s too much litter in the tray. Vary the amount of litter (more / less) and see if that changes the behaviour. xx
