This is great. I need to praise these guys. I usually criticise the custom in a part of China where eating cats and dogs is commonplace. I also criticise China for a total lack of animal welfare laws. However, in this video we see a group of firefighters extricate a tabby cat from a really bad jam; stuck fast in a narrow pipe with his head also stuck as it sticks through a narrow aperture.

This must have been incredibly scary for the cat as the cutting device was used creating lots of noise and being drenched in water.
I think they did well. They were careful and as sensitive as they could be under tricky conditions. Someone must have called the firefighters out. That person is kind. This cat rescue could be mistaken for the sort of thing that happens in America.
