Tree House Humane Society run a community Programme in which they place community cats into businesses and other properties where they can serve a good purpose namely to act as a deterrent to rats in Chicago.

Chicago has a rat infestation problem.

These cats are trapped and neutered but they cannot return to their original colony for various reasons such as the building has been demolished for the area has become dangerous.
