Cheeky little monkey! Domesticated feral cat.
The family of my friend's boyfriend found some kittens in a paddock. They would have been bout 3 weeks old and their mother was nowhere to be seen.
So my friend asked me if I would take one..and of course I gladly accepted.
The kitten I received was a feral cat. He hissed, he growled, he did whatever possible to get people away from him but eventually he settled into the house and made friends with my 2 dogs and my other cat.
He is now 3 months old but still very small. but he is healthy, happy and a cheeky little monkey.
Hi.... What I like about this is that you took on a feral cat and domesticated him without it seems thinking of the initial difficulties.
I don't think many people do this as there are alternative sources of cats that need re-homing.
But I like it because if you had not re-homed him and domesticated him he probably would have been killed in a shelter or died of illness as a feral cat.
And I love to see a cat whose life would have been short, unpleasant and tough lying against your computer contentedly waiting for his next meal or something like that.
Thanks for posting on PoC.
