United States: a hunter has died after he was attacked by a deer that he had shot in woods. Officials reported that Thomas Alexander, 66, had approached the deer after shooting it in Yellville, Arkansas, believing it to be dead. He was suddenly attacked by the deer who stabbed him with their antlers. Alexander suffered puncture wounds. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission where unable to find the deer.
This is not the first and it won’t be the last incident of a deer fighting back. Although and am sorry for the loss of this man’s life he is the author of his own demise. And as far as I am concerned it is karma. The passive deer who is so often a target for sport hunters can sometimes have the opportunity to make a fight of it and win. As I hate sport hunting I like that.
