Dr. Erica Rambus is a friend of mine. She is a veterinarian who commits herself to spaying and neutering and treating ferals with her little mobile clinic.

She's wonderful and has so many awards in Denver.

Hi Debbie... thanks bringing our attention to Dr. Erica Rambus and Devine Feline Rocky Mountain Feral Cat Project. I'll add some detail, if I may. If I make a mistake you can add a comment by clicking the link below.

Devine Feline Rocky Mountain Feral Cat Project is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to TNR. It was founded by Colorado veterinarians, Dr. Susanna Russo and Dr. Erica Rambus, in April 2003. Its objective is to reduce the feral cat population.

Dr Rambus makes the point that I consistently make namely that feral cats are our responsibility as are actions are the cause of the lives that they have, which by and large are unpleasant. She is doing something direct to help alleviate the problem and there is nothing better or more uplifting that direct tangible action, which gets the job done.

Th operation works out of a donated RV that was modified and renovated to serve as a Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital. The work started in April 2003.

The Board of Directors at 2010 are:

Andrea Furness is the Assistant Director of Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods (CHUN), and the Capitol Hill People’s Fair

Mark Reinhardt who has been writing and lecturing on vegetarianism and animal rights issues for more than 20 years.

Dr. Susanna Russo who graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences in 1996.

Dwight Smith who has served on numerous committees for different organizations over the years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cats’ Meow Foundation.

The total number of feral cats examined for 2009 was 9,247. The total number altered was 8,978.

People can volunteer to help. This page takes you to an application form: Application.

Please read the website for more information.

This website, PoC, has donated $100 to the organisation today.

Good luck and thank you Debbie for telling us about the Devine Feline Project.

Hi, I am 70-years-of-age at 2019. For 14 years before I retired at 57, I worked as a solicitor in general law specialising in family law. Before that I worked in a number of different jobs including professional photography. I have a longstanding girlfriend, Michelle. We like to walk in Richmond Park which is near my home because I love nature and the landscape (as well as cats and all animals).
