Dublin Fire Brigade rescues cat wedged between two cavity blocks

The Dublin Fire Brigade out of Dublin, Ireland posted a cat rescue to Twitter on Friday that is both heartwarming and nerve-wracking. A cat had to be rescued after becoming wedged between two cavity blocks.

Their Twitter post read

“Tight squeeze for Daisy the cat today after she got caught between cavity blocks. A cat-astrophe (sorry 🙏) was averted when firefighters from Kilbarrack station released her in purr-fect (soz) health #Dublin #fire #CatsOfTwitter”

The firefighters didn’t go into detail on how Daisy became trapped or what they had to do to free the cat from her unfortunate circumstances. Followers were quick to thank the Dublin Fire Brigade for rescuing and releasing the cat.

Poor Daisy. It hurts to even look at the photo showing her trapped and helpless.
