HolyMoly Say Hey Willie - a Bambino cat.

I have had several dwarf cats with short legs, Bambinos. They have no problem running or jumping. In fact, one of my Bambino girls could jump to a countertop that my Sphynx could not reach. They can run as fast, jump as high and play as hard as long legged cats with no problems.

Visit bambinocats.info - link broken April 2013 for more information on this dwarf cat breed.

so cute! NEW
by: truth.

you know... I think its pretty amazing that these people are saying these things. As if you actually like a cat (name any breed you like) that has not been genetically altered by breeding... seriously. Pick ANY breed and there have been alterations to it to better suit people like you guys.

I for one think these cats are adorable and while I have no intention of getting one because they are also expensive and I would rather adopt one at a shelter If I did have one of these cats I would REVEL in the knowledge that you would run out of my house the moment you walked in because my beautiful sweet cat thats diferent would freak you pathetic people out.

I loved my cornish rex and so did everyone I cared about but when people came in and said "EWWW WTF!" I just knew instantly that they were not worth my time... Peace mofo's You kinda suck the big one.

This is disgusting!!!
by: Katie

This is completely wrong. Can't we leave creatures ALONE!!?? Look what we have already done to nature. What is the point of this anyway? This creature will have health problems. I agree with everyone else who has commented so far. This is just gross.

How I agree with you !We humans have selfishly taken over the planet. We breed animals especially to kill for some of us to eat and we destroy animals and birds habitats to make more homes for the ever growing 'higher species' who breed without thought for the future.
Where will it end ?

i agree

I agree with everyone else that animals should be left the way they are. I look at this as just another way that mankind has to try to control or change animals to benefit or fit into our way of life. Maybe they should start making people smaller because soon there wont be any space left on this planet because our big old selves keep hogging up all the space. We could cut less trees because we would need smaller houses and smaller things. Just a thought.

Dwarf Cats

I don't understand people's desire to own a man-made deformed cat. What back problems will these por cats have? I think that it is cruel and should be illegal.

I do not understand either
by: Ruth aka Kattaddorra

I agree totally with Everycat. Why mess with Nature when animals are already perfect ? Without interference they are born as they are meant to be, with every part of them in proportion.
Of course they adapt, they have no choice and know no different, being born that way.But they should not have to !

I do not understand...
by: Everycat

...why people need to breed cats that have a functional deformity. Nature evolved felines to be fully functional with appropriate body proportions to ensure that functionality. I do not understand why people must minaturise so many breeds of animal or create breeds with so many potential problems. Dogs, cats, horses - all have been assailed by this need of humans to alter what is essentially a perfectly evolved animal to suit human aethetic needs.

Why?
