Until September 7th I will give 10 cents to an animal charity for every comment. It is a way to help animal welfare without much effort at no cost. Comments help this website too, which is about animal welfare.

I have called this post Feline Synchronicity but what’s happening is not quite so fanciful. The cat is mirroring the clock but his tail is gently wagging because he is interested in the clock. The movement of the clock’s tail has stimulated the movement of the cat’s tail. It is probably due to the fact that the cat is uncertain what is going on. When a cat feels this way he may wag his tail. This is because his mind is in balance, flicking between two different options. This is an evolutionary trait from the tail being used to keep a cat in balance when climbing; from physical balance to mental balance.
