Fox and domestic cat in dispute over sausage in snow. Fox wins. No injuries.

The fox is keener than the cat. He is desparate for the food. The cat gives a slightly weary swipe but eventually gives up. It supports my theory that foxes rarely kill domestic cats. They are too cautious about the domestic cat’s weapons (claw and teeth). They are too equal in capabilities. But it depends on the size of the fox and that depends on the species and the country. Some foxes are very large. What annoys me a bit is the Russian women giggling in the background. I don’t find the video funny. I find it sad more than funny. Ignrance I guess.

Note: videos on this site are often made by third parties and held on YouTube servers or the servers of other businesses. Sometimes the videos are deleted at source which stops them working on this site. It that has happened I apologise but I have no control over it.

Hi, I am 70-years-of-age at 2019. For 14 years before I retired at 57, I worked as a solicitor in general law specialising in family law. Before that I worked in a number of different jobs including professional photography. I have a longstanding girlfriend, Michelle. We like to walk in Richmond Park which is near my home because I love nature and the landscape (as well as cats and all animals).
