“Free Cat” Sign Was Duct Taped To A Cat (Photo)

A ‘Free Cat’ sign was duct taped to a cat. The cat was found wandering around the neighborhood in Arizona (believed to be Anthem, Arizona). A nice young lady, Taylor Waltrip, who had recently become a member of a non-profit rescue, Anthem Pets, found the cat. Perhaps she took the photo which is shocking.

Taylor got help to remove the tape and eventually ended up fostering and then adopting the cat who she named Oscar. She is a decent lady. She was in tears when telling the story on camera. She could not believes someone could do that to a cat.

“It’s still so hard to think somebody would do that to him,”

  1. The author of the best comment will receive an Amazon gift of their choice at Christmas! Please comment as they can add to the article and pass on your valuable experience.
  2. What a terrible idea! Now everyone who loves feral cats will be telling everyone that they’re good for sandwich-board advertising for businesses too.

“Unwanted Cats: They’re not just good for mousing, they’ll even advertise on the streets for you for free!”

The next ones we see will just say, “This Space Available For Rent”.

Craigslist will be chock-full of people getting rid of unwanted cats this way, like they already do, hundreds every day. But now with this “new and improved” marketing campaign.
