I blame Ruth for encouraging me to publish another photograph of him 😉 .

He was wandering around behind my desk while I was working and peered over the edge. The photo was taken with an iPhone 4s. He is beginning to explore a bit without me needing to entice him out. When I came home today having been away for about 3 hours, I called him and he gingerly emerged about ten minutes later.
The slightest sound outside and he dives for cover. He is in hiding again as I write this.

That’s a great photo Michael. I love the expression on Gabriel’s face – his eyes look full of curiosity.
You’re right he will and I have a feeling it won’t take as long as you’re expecting and I know that when it happens that first purr or the first time he sits on your knee is going to be just the best feeling ever!
Aww he’s getting braver and cutey every day.
Thanks Nancy. That is all the encouragement I need to get snapping 😉 I love photographing him. Although he is tricky to photograph because he doesn’t emerge from hiding that much!
Thanks Leah. He is so nervous of people. Every day is one small step towards socialisation. It is small increments. A long journey. I think we will get to the end of it and see a well socialised loving and loved cat.
I am looking foward to his pictures and his progress. He is such a sweetie pie.
