GUCCI – MY BRITISH SHORTHAIR CAT

Whether you get a cat companion for Gucci, I think, depends on whether you are out a lot yourself or if there is no one around. He seems to be pretty content!

Sometimes another cat can disturb things and upset the resident cat. Some "experts" say get another cat but I am not sure if it is that black and white.

If he is kept stimulated it might be best to leave things as they are. Helmi and Ken Flick (the cat photographer who illustrates this website) have 2 Brit SHs and 2 Maine Coons.

I think 2 is probably best if they get along and most cats get along eventually even if it starts off not too well. You decide. Or maybe Gucci should have a say in this? You might be able to get a clue as what he thinks!

He really is a very handsome cat. He almost looks like royalty there! He may think that he is royalty! He has that very typical British Shorthair look. Helmi Flick the American cat photographer has two Brit SH cats, one black and one blue (like Gucci) and they are a really nice breed of purebred cat.
