This Australian hair salon cat is a cutie. Betty Boo looks very calm and she certainly improves the ambience of this friendly barbers. I think the owner is very switched on. He has a good website and he’s created a very nice atmosphere topped off with a beautiful tabby cat who welcomes customers, makes them feel as if they are at home and all in all improves the place tremendously.
And the fact that the owner loves cats, which is quite apparent, is a big plus as far as I am concerned. Although, I think Betty Boo needs to watch her weight a little bit. Betty Boo likes her treats so perhaps she could be more active. She looks attractive in her bow tie and she’s a lap cat.

Betty Boo is another example of how a sweet domestic cat can enhance a business. She is a content working cat but she wouldn’t see it that way. This website features many working cats. In each case they have been a success both for the cat and the business. Working cats are often rescue cats as is the case for Betty Boo. It’s a win-win situation and in my view more businesses should consider adopting a rescue cat to be a welcoming, warm presence to the workplace.

Love this story and Betty Boo! Unfortunately, in parts of the USA, animals are not allowed in places of business with the exception of service animals. It would be considered a health code violation. Personally, I say phooey! It would be absolutely wonderful to have a cat like Betty Boo lie on me while having my hair done.
