-- HANDSOME & AVAILABLE!! -- Wilbur is SO ready for his furever home & talk about a love bug. Wilbur is a FeLV positive kitty that lives in the Calmar building at Best Friends Animal Society (in Utah).

Born in 2005 he shows no symptoms of having the disease & just loves to play & be loved. He'll even carry on a conversation with you. Due to some food allergies, Wilbur has to live alone in the laundry room of his building & as a result, he doesn't get much interaction when volunteers come by.

He is such a people kitty though & would just love to be part of a family. He also gets along with other cats (FeLV + as well).

Wilbur has been on a couple of sleepovers & you can read more about those, see pictures & a short video by clicking on the attached link. Won't someone give this boy the best gift ever.....a home for the holidays???

Thanks everyone. Sorry about the bad url & thank you for correcting. Wilbur us such a love bug, a sweet sweet boy. To Cat Lady - The good news is that you don't have to live in Utah to adopt him. Cats (& all kinds of animals) have been adopted from Best Friends by people all over the country & even in Canada. They will help work out/arrange transport of someone is interested in adopting an animal from there. That's why I'm sharing him on as many groups/sites as possible. You never know who might find this boy irresistible!!

What a truly amazing organisation this is. And the videos are wonderfully produced. I had a lot of difficulty because the link on POC gives a message that is was withdrawn.

Sadly, Wilbur's felv positive status probably scares off a lot of people. He has remained unadopted for some while. I'd take him in a trice but I have other cats in my home who are not felv positive.

So many cats; not enough open hearts and homes. It breaks my heart, it does.
