Me and Milo

Until September 7th I will give 10 cents to an animal charity for every comment. It is a way to help animal welfare without much effort at no cost. Comments help this website too, which is about animal welfare.

Me and Milo

I would like to start off by saying Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

Thanksgiving is a beautiful day to be thankful for all the beautiful blessings God has given to you.

Think of all the things that God has so blessed us with and be thankful for the things you do have in your lives.

Its a time to share with family and friends. I am thankful for many of things in my life like Milo. When I wake up each day I thank the good Lord for another beautiful day for Milo and I to wake to another day it is a beautiful blessing to us.

It feels very special because I will be sharing a beautiful day spending time and loving Milo each day and on Thanksgiving Day its a time to capture new memories and the thankful people who are sharing it with you.

It really is a day to thank God for what he's done for you and praise him all day long. I am so thankful for my family and friends who are in my life. I am so thankful for my beloved cat Milo. It means a lot to me to spend Thanksgiving with her on this special day.

Milo is my life and believing in Jesus Christ I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and you find love, peace, hope, joy, happiness and the faith and so much more.

Milo encourages me in so many ways and she inspires me too. Thank god for Milo my best friend in all the world. Jesus is the reason for the season god bless.

Big Hearted

by Mariah

I'm a 19 year old nursing student and as of today I have 12 once stray cats. People in my community think that the best way to deal with a cat you dont want is to throw it on the side of the road and drive away, and that is why i have taken in and re-domesticated over 100 cats in my life.

I dont use this word often but, i HATE people who can just throw away a living breathing LOVING thing! Once i get my degree i am going to open my own safe haven for mistreated and misunderstood cats because my heart cant handle the thought of all those bundles of joy being homeless and loveless.

We took a cat in about a year and a half ago, but have no idea what kind of cat she is. The picture posted is actually not her but look exactly alike. Anyone know what breed of cat this is?

Hi Jefff... sorry about the long delay in publishing this, which is due to the fact that it had to be merged with other submissions (being too short).

In my humble opinion this is a moggie cat (random bred) that has pointing. It is what is called lynx pointing. There are echos of a lynx pointed Siamese cat in the cat illustrated. In fact, it is just possible that this cat is a traditional lynx pointed Siamese cat but a pedigree will be needed to establish that.

Somewhere down the line a pointed cat mated with a tabby cat I suspect and the result is the one we see.

Purebred Siamese cats can be lynx pointed under the rules of certain associations. For example TICA allow "All pointed colors". You can see a lynx pointed Siamese on this page:

Lynx pointed Siamese cat. Hope this helps a bit.

Is my cat a Maine Coon

by celina torres
(brooklyn ny)

My cat has the yellow eyes and he groze like a dog, carrys his ball in his mouth, plays fetch he weights 8 lbs and he is only 9 months. He bullys my persian rag doll but they can't live without each other. He even moves furniture around is he a maine coon or maybe part ? The only thing his tail is not fluffy.

Hi Celina... Mittens is not a Maine Coon cat although he may have some Maine Coon in him but even that is probably unlikely. Sorry for that. Mittens is a very nice cat all the same.
