Hatebreed’s ‘Destroy Everything’ uses cats in their video and I don’t like it because it is not a good look for the domestic cat. I am probably being too serious but the music is about destroying modern life and rebuilding the world. The images of cats destroying household items and hitting people are used to illustrate this music. A cynical exploitation of the ever popular internet cat.
Hatebreed is a metalcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 1994. Alternatives to ‘metalcore’ are hardcore punk, metallic hardcore and heavy hardcore. They all apply to this band. The band are asking for revolution on this track!
