How much do jaguars weigh? I mean the cat not the car! The average weight for an adult male jaguar in Central America is 56 kilograms. For females in the same region, it is 41 kilograms.
The largest jaguars are found in the floodplains of the Pantanal region of Brazil and in the Venezualan Illanos where males weigh an average of 102 kilograms and females average 72 kilograms.
There are 2.2 pounds to the kilogram. 102 kgs is 225 pounds (16 stones). The average weight of an American male human is 195 pounds but that includes obese males. Weight for weight the jaguar is far more powerful, fearless and dangerous than the human male.
