Smalls, a three week old, tiny, messed up kitten severely neglected and recovered from a hoarding situation was literally saved by the Humane Society with tons of TLC. The before and after photos are stark and tell the whole story. Vets gave Smalls 24 hours to live. He is now a bright, handsome boy full of life and energy. His name is now Pip. Good name. Is that a name from Great Expectations? I think so.

Hoarding is heartbreaking. I pray the animals will find loving homes and the hoarders find forgiveness, comfort and the strength to say “No!” I also pray that pre-hoarders and hoarders ask for help long before hoarding takes place.
