I Love My Small Cat!

I actually saved a kitten from being killed by a horrible woman that lets her cats breed uncontrollably. I named him Tamaki from a Japanese anime show. Tamaki hasn't grown very much from 6 weeks to 4 months. The reason why I know this is because I acquired another kitten for the same reasons and named her Luna. She was three weeks younger than Tamkai and she has already surpassed him in weight and height!

I took him to the vet worried he had a disease and he simply said that Tamkai won't be as big as most cats. I love his small size. He is my baby!

Our little Derbie
by: Scott and Janet Shock

We also acquired a very small kitten from a barn full of kittens. They had been allowed to breed without control. Poor little guy, I had no intention of picking up a cat when I visited these kittens as I already had three cats I had rescued from the streets as kittens. He was about the size of a hamster at eight weeks, he obviously was suffering from a respiratory infection, one eye was cloudy and he was losing fur. Once I held him I never put him down. After I got him home I took him to the Doc. where we got good news and bad news the good news was he would most likely live a healthy life, once his infection and ring worm were treated. The bad news is that his eyesight was pretty much gone. (side effect of the infection) We explored a cornea transplant to correct his corneal edema, however it was determined that the risk was too great. He is now 4 years old weighs around 5 pounds and lives in our bedroom for the most part where he is safe. It is a very large over sized room with a large bay window and plenty of things for him to play with and climb on. When we are able to watch him he comes out and mingles with our big cats. He thinks he is big and sometimes starts trouble with them and they run from him. He doesn't know it is because they know they can't hurt him or they will get scolded. we are blessed to have him.

HES ADORABLE

Your cat is so adorable. I once had a kitten born as a dwarf. She died very young. I still loved her . She was so small I carried her in my pocket, I was very sad when she died.

He'll grow smart instead

Another lucky little cat. As long as Tamaki is healthy and playful, don't worry about his size. He'll have to grow smart instead. 🙂

Tamaki is adorable
by: Anonymous

Tamaki is adorable and it proves that miniature cats or small cats are born all the time and breeders of miniature cats use these small cats to produce even smaller ones.

Thanks for sharing. I hope he grows to be healthy and strong despite his size.
