“I think animals make people better,” Frank Fantini (record store employee) — 10 Comments

  1. I love living with cats and also seeing cats wherever I go, even seeing one sitting looking out of a window gives me a warm feeling, I stand and wave and blow kisses to him/her lol
Going into someone’s home who doesn’t have a cat feels empty, something missing.
There’s a pic going round facebook right now, a girl at a party, but she’s sitting in the corner with the cat, oblivious to the partying …that’s always been me lol
I think it’s lovely to have cats in a workplace as long as the cats are safe and have a private place to retreat to when they want a bit of peace.
A book shop with cats in it, would be paradise to me!

    • Same as me too. I’m having a bad experience with a ‘guest’ this week and its a disaster – Molly has regressed and is nervous and Gigi wants more of me than I am having time to give and it’s just not working.

Cats have made me a thousand times better – and I see how when somebody who doesn’t get them is around the atmosphere and feeling completely falls apart because the cats are unhappy which makes me unhappy.

The only solution is kick the so called friend out but he doesn’t have a flight until the weekend so it’s just not an option to cut it short.

      • Does your friend not like cats Marc? Cats know don’t they! I wonder why people who don’t like cats want to stay where cats live, we have a good excuse, our house is too small lol

  2. THE PARTS STORE HAS A BEAUTIFUL BLACK KITTY.AND THE TIRE STORE HAS A GREY KITTY,BEAUTIFUL TOO .THEY BOTH OF THEM HAVE HAD THIER SHARE OF PETTING FROM ME.I THINK BOTH PLACES HAVE A REAL WARMTH TO THEM. AND I HAVE MET THE NICEST PEOPE IN THE PET FOOD ISLE.

  3. Animals bring people together. Talking to some lovely people the other day that I hadn’t met before turns out they love cats; they have 5. We immediately warmed to each other I certainly felt a connection, felt warmth and trust, I like to think they felt something similar. I tend to find that cat lovers are good kind hearted, open people and I have only found that wasn’t the case on one occasion.

  4. Lovely post Michael! And one that is so true. I say that a house is NOT a home without at least one or two resident kitties:)
